I've always had a passion for design but my fascination lies with sparking interaction and thought through several mediums.
I currently work as a interaction and graphic designer in Suffolk. At the moment I am full-time at a design studio called Bluesky. I also complete selected projects freelance at my own collaborative agency called Nimble studio.
So far I've worked across graphic design for print and screen; user interface design for websites, desktop software and mobile; creating and redesigning brands.
I graduated from Bolton University in 2009 with a first BA in Graphic Design. Completing university in two years I was fast tracked into the second year from my self taught knowledge, there I worked on packaging, identities and more. I was awarded a D&AD "in book" award in packaging for my work with the Homebase brand and first degree honours.. From 2009-2010 I worked for JoussenKarliczek in Germany as a graphic designer. During my college years I worked for individual clients and studios such as Firebrand and Waitrose.
I never limit myself to one type of project or medium but am always learning new skills and looking for opportunities to use them.
I try to have a few personal projects and clients going in my spare time. I am attempting to keep a blog of thoughts and pictures from my life.
"Matt's time at Firebrand was very productive, and whilst here he worked on identity, packaging and web projects. He was helpful, creative and knowledgeable, and easy to get on with." Michael Dale, Firebrand
